VISITING LOTUS TEMPLAR

Dedication and Service

Lotus Templar is a nonprofit organization providing religious, integrative health and wellness services to all sentient and non-sentient beings. This nonprofit/organization focuses on community and individual development to promote Theravada Buddhism within and surrounding local communities. Lotus Templar is dedicated to the promotion of Theravada Buddhist teachings through the practice of meditation, the study of Buddhist scriptures, dhamma school for children, and regular religious ceremonies. Lotus Templar offers opportunities for laypersons to practice Theravada Buddhism. Currently, there are very few registered Theravada Buddhist Temples/Churches located on the Southern East Coast of the United States. Lotus Templar strives to bridge this gap and address identified disparities within this region of the United States. Lotus Templar aims to illuminate teachings and practices for healing intergenerational trauma within the communities in which it resides.
